Who We Are & What We Do
For the past 15 years, Mukura swimwear directors have worked in the swimwear manufacturing services and textile production industry. Originally from Colombia, a country recognized for its sexy and high quality swimwear brands like Agua Bendita®, Touché®, and Onda de Mar® among others, Jose and Carolina decided to incorporate their business in Florida and serve the US and Canada markets as a local white-label swimwear manufacturing company.
Unlike many other private-label swimwear manufacturers located in the United States who act as sourcing agents, we actually own the manufacturing facilities in Colombia and directly manage and supervise the entire production process. From samples to international shipping of your collection’s pieces.
If you are an independent established brand in the US or Canada, with a regular customer base then you are already thinking of sourcing your production in Asia (China, Vietnam, Bali, etc.) but, you have found that very few companies offer low minimums, their logistics costs are high, and you will need to deal with international bank wire transfers and local import processes. Instead, with Mukura Swimwear Manufacturing you will negotiate with a US based company, your invoice and payment will be in US dollars and paid to a business US bank account and, better yet, your goods will be delivered with all duties paid at your location

If you have tried sourcing your products from Asia or South America, you know what it means to deal with customs imports, international logistics and bank transactions.With Mukura Swimwear Manufacturing you have the option of buying local and we will take care of everything involved with international logistics, or if you have experience with imports, we can sell you directly from our factory in Colombia.
How It Works
At Mukura Swimwear Manufacturing, we offer 2 types of services in order to help emerging brands to grow into an established swimwear brand.
MADE TO ORDER
This service is suitable for new start-ups in the swimwear industry. Creative entrepreneurs with great print ideas but have not tested their market fully and cannot (or are not ready yet) to commit to large orders. Here, you can choose from any of our pre-set styles and order low quantities with your prints.
Order Samples
These are only for evaluation of style and fabric, and cannot be customized with your print. Only 1 sample allowed per style. You will also receive a digital color chart. Allow 2-3 weeks for receiving your sample.
Send your file
After evaluating our sample and if you are ready to move forward, send us your vector file with the print(s) you want for the style(s) you have chosen. We will make a couple of units and send you pictures for approval. Do not worry, we will use the same style in the same fabric you have revised in the sample.
Place your order
Send us confirmation of approval and we will proceed with the production of your order. Your project manager will keep you posted on the process, and contact you for invoice details, payment, shipping details, and any questions relevant to your order.
Our minimum order quantity for Made-to-Order styles is 30 pieces per style, per color, or print. We can distribute those 30 pieces in up to 3 sizes.
The estimated time of delivery of your swimwear order is 5-6 weeks*.
Quality Assurance
QA is not an isolated stage of the swimwear manufacturing process. At Mukura Swimwear Manufacturing, QA is a corporate value and we will carry it out from the moment we start working on your project. Together, we will review the designs and patterns thoroughly to minimize errors in production, during the production stage, we apply controls to different activities including their packaging and dispatch.
Place your order
Send us confirmation of sample approval and we will proceed with the production of your order. Your project manager will keep you posted on the process, and contact you for invoice details, payment, shipping details, and any questions relevant to your order.
Our minimum order quantity for Custom-Made swimwear is 300 units. It can be distributed in minimum 75 pieces per style, per color, or print. We can distribute those 75 pieces in up to 3 sizes.
The estimated time of delivery of your swimwear order is 6 - 7 weeks*.
Sample Revisions
You will need to provide us with all adjustments (not to affect style pattern) to the sample received. Those adjustments will be taken into consideration for the production stage. No other sample is needed unless your project manager advises it.
Order Samples
On our custom swimwear manufacturing service, samples are developed using your own tested patterns and technical specifications. A counter sample for us to replicate is strongly recommended. and can be customized with your print (a vector file for printing needs to be provided). You will also receive a ring with fabric swatches and a digital color chart. Allow 4-5 weeks for receiving your sample.
For more established brands with a recurrent customer base, our swimwear private label and custom design manufacturing is the right option to choose. You already have tested your market, you have defined collections through the year and have a marketing strategy for your brand in place. Now, let’s grow!
CUSTOM MADE
Shipping
Most made-to-order projects are small (under 200 pieces), these orders are shipped via courier service (DHL, Fedex, UPS, etc). Shipping and handling costs are extra and will be shared upon completion of your swimwear order.
*Time might be affected by international logistics providers and/or US customs processes.
